2nd day – The magic of Turin, excursion to the Real Castle in Venaria Reale for a guided visit of the Savoy’s Royal Palace, recently restored, between baroque halls and wonderful Italian gardens. Short ransfer to Vidracco to plunge in the Chiusella Valley, in the magic world of Damanhur among esoterism, past and modern craftsmanship laboratories, art and above all the fascinating, underground Temple of Humankind, created by followers of the community, with memories of the ancient civilizations that are projected to present and future days. Lunch with an energizing and balanced menu in a country-inn; stop at Castellamonte to visit an artisan producer of the famous ceramic stoves. Last stop in Caluso, to taste structure and the flavour of the rare white wine Erbaluce di Caluso DOP. On the way back, the dinner with rural seasonal menu at an estate. Overnight in Asti.
3rd day: Excursion on the Wine Street Astesana to Agliano Terme, land of the wine Barbera and thermal baths; later to Canelli, in the heart of the Unesco Immaterial Heritage, to discover the world of the Italian spumante Metodo Classico (the sparkling wine)and the sweet Moscato d’Asti docg, in the wonderful underground wine cellars. Light lunch and afternoon in Nizza Monferrato to visit the Rural Meseum and the cellar of Bersano Estate. Fallowing stop in Mombaruzzo at Berta Distillerie, to enter into the charming old world of Piedmonteese Grappa: tasting. Dinner with a menu that compares dishes of the plain country cooking and those of the noble and sophisticated Savoyard cooking. Overnight.
4th day : Excursion to the castles and Romanesque churches in the north of Asti with en-route stop to discover and taste the cheese Robiola and the Piedmont’s ham in Cocconato and the rare red vine Freisa d’Asti in Castelnuovo Don Bosco: tastings. Light lunch in a country restaurant. Unforgettable experience the visit at Nicola Laboratory in Albugnano, to learn the very skilled job of the restauration of paintings, sculptures and carvings. Return in town and free time at disposal for dinner in hotel or in a local restaurant.
5th day: Excursion to the Langa, from Barbaresco to La Morra and Barolo passing along the wine road. Meeting with the wine producers and tasting of the most famous but also the least renowned wines of the area such as the Pelaverga di Verduno; Goodbye lunch in a Langa restaurant. Departure of guests.
