Monday: Meeting with the guide and hotel accommodation. Welcome cocktail and light lunch with typical appetizers; visit of the vineyards and wine cellar of a country estate near Asti. Explanation of the main historical vines of Monferrato and tasting. Following visit of a local artisan that builds casks to enter the world of casks and barriques. Return to the hotel and dinner with a typical menu. Overnight.

Tuesday: Excursion to Vercelli and visit of a famous rice mill and fields, where the film Riso Amaro has been shot; seminary on rice cultivation and following lunch in a country estate with rice dishes. Passing through the gentle hills of Monferrato, return to Asti and visit of the Arazzeria Scassa, the only Italian artisan who produces art tapestry, with traditional method. Return to the hotel. Seasonal Monferrato dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight.

Wednesday: Departure for Nizza Monferrato to visit the Bersano wine cellars and the Museum of country tools and local people uses; tasting. Light lunch with typical appetizers in a country inn. In the afternoon, excursion to Mombaruzzo to visit a grappa distillery. Following lesson and tasting. Visit of a local producer of the typical “amaretto” (cake with almonds) and dinner in a typical restaurant in Calamandrana with a comparison menu between dishes of the plain country cooking and those of the noble and sophisticated cooking. Overnight.

Thursday: Tha Asti Langa: visit of the historical underground wine cellars (declared part of the World Human Heritage by Unesco) in Canelli, where it’ll be possible to discover the world of “spumante” - the sparkling white wine - and of the DOCG wine Moscato d’Asti. Excursion to Roccaverano sheep and goat pastures and visit to an artisan producer of DOC cheese, typical Langa lunch in a country inn/ cattle breeding. Natural walk to the valley, to admire the Romanesque bridge in Monastero Bormida. Following visit of a country estate in Bubbio, producer of the old mais (old Piedmont cultiver), to see its stone mill. En-route stop at an original Arabian wild horses stud-farm. Transfer to the hotel for room accommodation and gala dinner at a renowned restaurant in Asti. Overnight at hotel.

Friday: Passing through the vineyards hills of Monferrato and Langa, transfer to Barbaresco to know the Langa famous wines and visit an important local winery. Lunch in the cellar with a country style menu together with the local wines Chardonnay, Dolcetto d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba and Barbaresco. Transfer to Barolo for a walk in the village and to la Morra to admire from a panoramic view, the surrounding vineyards expanse; dinner in a typical restaurant with a seasonal menu. Return to Asti and overnight.

Saturday: Walk through the market, to buy the ingredients for a little Piedmont cooking school in a local restaurant in Asti with the creation of a typical Piedmont menu and lunch tasting of the created menu. Free time for shopping through the historical centre and at the market. Visit of Torronificio Barbero, (a nougat laboratory) to taste “torrone” - produced with eggs, sugar, honey and the typical DOP hazelnut -, chocolate and chocolates. Return to the hotel for a wine-cocktail lesson. Goodbye dinner in a renowned restaurant in Asti. Overnight.

Sunday: Visit of the Castle in Cisterna d’Asti and of the Museum of ancient crafts. Light lunch. Transfer of the guests to the airport. End of the tour.
